Unexpected was an experiential teamwork performance exploring the fluid illusion of movement created by constituent frames. A single participant would ride a stationary bike to operate a 12 ft stroboscope while others uncovered an animation with a strobe light. The animation only appeared visible when matching the rotational frequency of the stroboscope with the strobe light speed.
